UNBUILT

A confluence of practicality and recreation, this mixed-use project creates a new theoretical but efficient shipping route for a prominent national delivery company into the island of Manhattan. Using sea transport, this nodal development occurs on the east bank of the Hudson River as a new port of entry with a voluminous delivery processing center on its lowest level. Around the perimeter of the delivery center are retail venues with a boardwalk and boat mooring locations. On the roof of the entire wharf, is a recreational space with four soccer fields and a ramble park nearest the West Side Highway. Multimodal traffic is taken around and over the truck and vehicular entry, separating both for heightened sense of pedestrian safety and use.
